Odd under car noise

Hello all.
I am new here and posted in the introduction forum.

I have been searching for some time on sites to try and troubleshoot an odd noise in my 13 X MR.

Car has ets intake kit and Cobb turboback.

I am not sure what exactly is making this noise as it seems to only happen on cold start until 2 bars on coolant temp. Does not come back until car is completely cooled and has no bar on coolant temp.

The noise is most audible on passenger side under wheel well roughly. Have no way to get completely under the car at this time.

Anyhow, here is a video. Maybe will have better luck here than in the other forum I tried to seek advice from.

Site will not allow me to upload a video so here is the link then.

Hello mods.
Can this be moved to engine/turbo/drive terrain.

Still looking looking for any thoughts on this.

From what I can tell after more researching on this noise is it could be related to the timing chain, however this noise does not persist. It goes away once the engine has come up to operating temp. If anyone has heard this and knows what it is I would appreciate some input before tearing things apart to check the chain.

If it is something simple I'd rather not go through that.

Thanks.

I had a hard time hearing any noise that wasn't normal and I have a nice headset. Can you describe the noise?

The sound is most audible when under the car on passenger side, but I can take another video tomorrow or possibly tonight. It would be most comparable to the sound of crickets buzzing and goes away after warm.

I have narrowed down the source of the noise to be located in the piping of the oil cooler radiator, specifically on the bottom end. Not sure if that is in or out, or both as there are 2 hoses down there under passenger side. The sound is audible with stethoscope from the top however it is much more faint. Could this possibly be the pump beginning to fail?
I did get another video of the noise, however it sounds the same as previous. It is a buzzing noise that sounds like it is oscillating, however that would be impossible as nothing moves like that in the engine, lol. I assume it is the pump working and making the noise. Potentially getting ready to die.

Edit: could be old oil from some more reading. Will try that and if noise persists will update to see if there are any other ideas before replacing the pump as that seems to only temp fix the noise.

Make sure your power steering fluid is clean and at the right level.
Use a stethoscope and pin point the exact spot.

Resolved the issue yesterday. Had some down time and did a quick oil change in drive way. Sound persisted for 1 day and has now vanished. I did not think it would be the oil as it's only been in car for 1.1k miles and was 2 months old.

Thanks for the tip on PS fluid as well possibly making this type of noise.

It sounds like one of the heat shields is vibrating. Whether It may or may not come back after your oil change is another issue.

It is resolved.

Premature oil breakdown it would appear. Not really sure how that happened but the oil only had 1.2k miles at 2 months old. Oil change resolved the issue, pump is fine.
