Hey guys, hoping some of you can give me some insight as to what’s acceptable. My TOB has been jingling and I let it go too long and now it has cracked the fingers on the pressure plate (ACT HDSS). The car has not been driven since this happened (down the road and right back into the garage). I don’t believe the clutch itself is bad as it will hold the power of the car. Given it is good, can I replace the pressure plate and tob with replacing the clutch itself and resurfacing the flywheel? Normally I’d just do the whole thing but time is of the essence as it’s my dd and I can’t even find a local shop to get me in “quickly”
symptoms: clutch judder on engagement, spongy pedal. Lost at least half the “stiffness”
I have replaced the cmc with the MAP quick click and bled to the moon
