it's still gonna be the performance value leader for any vehicle under $40K. I just want more horsepower then 300.

the only reason i would trade in my stock evo 8 which has full bumper to bumper warranty until 2015 or 100K would be cause the shifter sucks and i'd like faster 50-70mph times. that's were the nice SST and extra power come in.

 

The rumored turbochared AWD lancer ralliart will fill the gap between the lancer and the evolution very nicely, allowing the evo to be priced higher without losing buyers.

 

yeah, if that one comes in around 24 or 25k i will get that....and if it has fold down rear seats (i snowboard) even better, as the evo x has fixed seats

 

a turbo ralliart will dilute sales of evos, they better jack up the horsepower to maintain a good evo sales pace and to maintain a wide enough market and performance segment.

I'm actually kinda disappointed that the GSR will be the one with the contrasting black vents & the MR will seemingly have body matching colored vents. Like, wouldn't be more preferential that MAYBE some of the MR folks would want the black vents as at least an option (since they are wielding a migithier dollar )?

 

^Why sweat the small stuff. Just buy it as an accessory or swap it with someone. Anyway I can't imagine tuners Not going multicolor/neon-glow with the vents just because they can.

 

I would love to have the black hood vents on the MR when I get one. I WANT the chrome outline over the grill. I am not too fond of the black side vents though. It doesn't look right and looks out of place.

Maybe later on I will be able to buy another hood with the black vents.
