It is just a pace car for this half of the season. It must meet FIA standards in January before it can actually start with international rallies.

 

A group N vehicle maintains its interior and also gets a roll cage which is what that Mitsubishi Evo X Pace car is. A true FIA world rally car is stripped to the metal. That version of the Evo X won't be seen till the second half of the season when it passes FIA inspection.

 

Hey lancerlover how do you know that? just want to know, because i have all the 2007 WRC (until new zealand) saved in my computer but i haven't seen the evo x yet.

 

Ok... Someone here has some sort of satellite dish or something that can get Rally Japan; DVR it and link it so we can all watch. And edit it down so we can just watch the course cars (the X's), and not all the lamer subbies and renaults and stuff.

That's a good start for the car to compete in Group N, but hopefully they will return to the top class some day.
