Merge: I hate the evo 10 (and complaints about hating the evoX)
That makes perfect sense actually..i drive a IX too.....and i love it, i would NEVER buy the X....i think it is very ugly and its not just my type, this guy has every right to post this thread...its his opinion. Why would you let a guy post a thread saying he loves it...but fail to hear the other side or other peoples opinions. lets not be biased guys.....its a free coutrny the dude can say what he wants....but you gotta watch the name calling bro

For the record, I DON'T currently own a IX. I DO still have the option of buying a new IX (just a handful left). And of course, I DO have the option of buying a X (no it's not beyond my means - in fact, it's only a little bit (in relative terms) more expensive than the new IX).
Guess what? I don't have a bias, and even I have misgivings about the X, which is why I'm hesitating and kicking things around in my head. You could argue that the current IX owners are "sour grapes" blabla - but I'm not - I am actually in the position of choosing between two new cars, and the X is not the clear winner. There are many people who feel this way too.
In other words, expect to see threads like this more and more. No need to get all worked up about it. It would be nice if everyone can post in that one thread about not liking the Evo, but a mod can simply merge it, right?
BTW, I've actually seen the X up close and personal (twice). Never driven it, they don't allow test drives here. From the looks alone, it's looks more like a cheaply built Korean car. The engine cover is cheap and plasticky and the whole bay is cramped like hell (the battery is in the trunk, for crying out loud!) Turbo is behind the engine, not much space for upgrades. Interior is crappy.
I'm a fair minded person - so I will say, that having not driven it, I cannot judge how good the car is overall. It may blow me out of the water with how it performs.
