What I was actually reaching at is I also guessed about that. However, if mitsudave's prices are accurate, that would put the GSR+SSS at roughly the same price as the base MR (MR+Technology should probably cost at least $2200 over base), which seems off.

I was just looking at the MitsuCars website. The technology package is available for the regular 2008 Lancer. I would bet it costs the same on the evo.

MSRP: $2000
30GB HDD navigation system, Mitsubishi multi-communication system, Digital music server function, 7" LCD touch screen panel and FAST Key (Free-Hand Advanced Security Transmitter) entry system

Are you retarded? The reason that the car is faster around the track is because of the improved handling characteristics of the car, not the straight-line performance. Races are won in the turns, not in the straights. You have never been on a road race course have you? And the car is about 100 pounds heavier, not 300. There's a video from "Best Motoring" of Japan showing the X vs the IX, and they show split screen comparisons of the cars at the same points in the turns, and the EVO X is a hair slower on turn-in, but it grips signifigantly better in the middle all the way through to the exit than the EVO IX. The car is just better, if you don't like it, then don't buy it. But, do some research before you open your mouth next time.

Unfortunately, I have some beautiful pictures i took of boththe GSR and MR but cannot figure out how to downsize the shots on my work computer, and unlike Ebay EvoM doesn't automatically downsize images for you.
You like the STi's "looks" better than the EVO? What are you, blind? You must be a hatchback fan, UGH. One word...FUGLY. Every car magazine has given the nod to the EVO hands-down. But, if you like it, buy it. You'll be one of the few.

Sorry until the actual release of the X we don't get those prices for the packages. But that is a good guess because the install and components are hte same on the Lancers.
Yes, the loaded GSR is pretty much the same price as the base MR.
It will be an interesting ride with this car in the months to come.
