2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution review
Just horrible. Looks like they are trying to do what Honda/ Acura did. Went from making high performance models to watering them down and adding weight
Why can't they just do what Chevrolet and Dodge do. Make more power every year with little refinements without adding lots of weight???

Who are you kidding?
Have you even seen the increase in Honda/Acura sales over the years?
He was probably referring to the two models in the Chevy and Dodge lineup (vette and viper), which have improved performance without gaining any significant weight. Although, the new Caliber SRT4 did exactly what the next Evo is going to do: gain in size, weight, and lose that signature communicative feel in an effort to be more civilized and appeal to a larger demographic. I realize that this is only a half truth thought considering the Evo X will be a better handling vehicle that its predecessor (something the SRT4 can't boast) and be faster around a track (also something the SRT4 can't boast).
man everytime I read things about the evo X I get more and more confused :/ that audio system with navigation and the sound insulation stuff makes it sound like its awesome, and a lot better for a regular driver, luxury performance car, but it scares me how much they've changed it and made it less "sporty" and how they made it look disgustingly ugly
Sounds like its just like a robotic car that does everything for you and any noob driver can drive it
