Wow I was a little bummed that Phantom black might not be or isn't gonna be offered on the X GSR but with these pics ill take black for sure!

 

those pics were taken in Singapore or something, so the USDM GSR will not have phantom black.

The 9 looks like the girl

side by side the X looks meaner and more aggressive

the x actually looks like a 30k+ car...lol...definately more modern...did u notice the wickerbill on the spoiler of the x?....pretty cool...and i like the front of the spoiler on the x in the the middle of it...hard to see it but it's not straight across in the front of it.....and i love the third brake light in the trunk...i do still like the ix taillights better though....it's hard ....i mean both cars look awesome....it's like the best of the old school and the best of the new...i think i like both of them...definately like those enkei wheels on the x better than the bbs ones(shown in other pics i've seen).....and the x actually has a good radio and speakers now....lol...or at least it's an option....i had to put a pioneer system in mine......one thing's for sure...people are gonna get more for the high price they pay for these cars....definately a more mainstream type car than the ix....probably will sell lots more x's than they did ix's......oh well at least our ix's are faster...

dude, you bring up a very good question. I agree, the black X does not look like phantom black pearl at all. It looks like TB...I was assuming it was phantom black since I thought it was the only type of black being offered.

also, the USDM EvoX GSR will not have TB or Phantom Black as a color. The MR will be the only version to get Phantom Black and it's the only black that will be offered.

The U.S EvoX will get a graphite gray. The japanese EvoX does not have a graphite gray.

 

Great find.
They both look great. And IMO I like both cars. I will leave the enthusiasts with their own issues to sort through.

But here is something kinda funny. They say that the X looks more mature, more refined and so forth.

But in truth, the IX is the older brother.
The X is going to need to learn from the IX.
And from what we are seeing these forums, I am hoping that they all learn from what the DD thinks about. Got the consumer reviews, which hardly anyone fills out but on the forums, you got gold.

 

When I got my 9MR there was no TB option then a few months after I bought it they came out with the SE in black my luck
