i think they should have at least jotted down the list of pros and cons on both vehicles, read over them. Then do the on camera interview.

The interview looked unprofessionally disorganized, looked totally improvised, and put the driving instructor on the spot. I'm sure the driving instructor would have had some more specific things to say had they done a little pre-interview work.

Erwin really needs to lose a few pounds... no lap times so I'm guessing the IX is faster.

it is a repost, and IMO the review is just horrible, it has no specific numbers and Erwin sounded unknowledgable in that video

This video is like listen to a really fat fitness trainer, how do i need to eat and so on...
i'm little suspisious about this guy, away he using the steering wheel, the position he's driving etc. He don't even know sometimes what he is driving the other guy have to correct him many times... And dont tell me this is a raw video footige...
So for me is useless video.

You guys are Tools... he spoke about how the car feels in and out of the corners & feed back & wieght etc... This guy has driven more cars then all of us put together he is not selling anything, Its just is opinion of feel. I raced Prorally for 13 years & you tools would tell me How to stage rally too... I bet most of you think you could & should be driving in the WRC as well...

You guys are way to hard on every thing & every one.. Do you really think that a Top-Editor from MOTOR TREND would ask someone about a car that he did not trust or had some insite & put it on Film for that matter ? This review gives a true feel for how this car will drive.

Sure, Every one wants the New Evo X to have 400 Hp & Lap 4 to 5 sec faster & drop 300lbs. But we know thats not the way it is....

i think he could ask more inside guys about the new X... Like some one from the Evo scene... Since they will give you more realible feedback. Because they drove it, the know it etc. I shouldn't explain to this ,right? I purposly do not mention names. Because i do think any evo racer or tuner will give you better feedback.
Why him? Maybe he was right there. Maybe he is a cousin for some one .Maybe he was cheapest. Many reason can be.

If the X truly feels nimble and quick at 3600lbs then I'm impressed.

Bringing it back from the dead, here is the article they wrote:

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...test_data.html

Interesting G graphs and cornering info on there. I also didn't realize the brakes were so much larger on the X and the steering ratio is tighter, but with more turns to lock (probably a better turning radius, even with the larger wheels and tires). Would be nice to get a set of those rims for my IX! Weight distribution looks to be better also with the battery in the back and the AL block.

Their tested acceleration didn't quite match the timing here: http://www.edmunds.com/apps/vdpconta...9/pageNumber=1 but they said something about a misfire in the X, so that could explain that.

Also noticed that the EPA economy went up, but the actual economy went down. But something that is probably being overlooked with great importance... the warranty coverage went down!
