i dunno if this has been posted before but it's new to me
i just found these awesome links about the 4B11 and what is supposed to be the Evo X but it's just the regular lancer. you can tell the engine spec is from the GTS by the 10.0 compression vs the 9.0 for the evo x.
the main thing i wanted to find was the rod length...149.25mm!!!!
this makes a 1.735 rod ratio on the 4B11 which is friggin AWESOME.
other interesting numbers are valves: 35mm int/29mm ex and cam lift: 8.45mm int/8.20mm ex

4G63 is 85 x 88 with a 150 mm rod so the resultant rod ratio is 1.71. deck height is 229mm. awesome numbers for an awesome, legendary engine.
the 4B11 is very similar and in fact slightly better looking strictly at the numbers. time will tell how good this engine is
