Autospies comes through once more.
I can't wait to see the specs and price on this car. SST + AWD + Turbo = $25,000 makes me happy.

Guys, look at the fenders on both concepts. Compare them to the Evo X's.
Mitsubishi reworked the X's fenders to look more like the previous Evo's. Big mistake? Should they have left the look of the old car completely alone?
Aside from the interior, the fenders were the biggest change made to the original Concept X. First seen in the Prototype X, the lightly disguised Evo X that debuted at last year's Detroit show, the reworked fenders became more edged, no more rounded.
The original Concept X had rounded fenders like the Concept RA's and Sportback's. Refer to the far left pic below.
I hope they don't just carry over the Evo X's fenders to the Sportback. Those rounded fenders look a helluva lot better on both concepts. More importantly, they were associated with the original design. Not added on later to better bridge the gap from the old car to the new.
Here are some pics of the three stages of the Evo X. To review, the progression went from Concept X to Prototype X to the production X. From left to right: 1) Concept X. 2) Prototype X. 3) Another pic of Proto' X. 4) Production car, GSR.

I hope the RA is coming. I would like this as a second car/daily driver. My truck is getting old and I really want a AWD or 4WD vehicle when I replace it. I don't think Mitsubishi would consider changing the fenders because of fear of it taking sales from the Evo X. Anyway, if the price is right I will be there.
