Should have been single exhaust from factory but most will be changed anyhow.

the size of a canister is very important in terms of sound and vibration creation or dampening. Depending on the application. The volume of the canister is key, slight changes can effect performance + / - with changes in back pressure, etc..

Underbody looks like an underbody. It's cool to see though. I'm hoping my dealer here locally will be able to let me have a go in one of those considering I purchased the IX from them.

Wonder what the HP numbers would look like with just a single exhaust, from the looks of it i should not be a hard thing to do.

Are we all looking at the same pictures? I keep reading "I wonder about a single exhaust". Well that looks like a single exhaust to me. Looks like 1 straight pipe back. Now of course the canister has two exits, but it's still a single exhaust.

The engine does not care if there are bends in the exhaust 6 feet from the motor....it only senses volume. Myth in the car world is that it needs to be 'straight duals' like a cowboy pick em up truck? A 4" single exhaust will outflow true-dual 2.5" exhaust all day (if it can fit) ...look at the big diesels and ultra fast turbo cars....single piping. Duals are for marketing 'fast' looks and tight packaging
