that is lame... I really doubt the SST is going to be "better" than a clurtch and stick in term of control

All in all, F1 racers use paddle shifters so, it IS good. Obviouslly, Mitsu wont be making theirs anywhere near as good. True, this semi aouto does take from the driving experience but, it basically guarantees you will shift faster than most morons out there, if it even matters. If you plan to hook it up, sure the semi auto will be way more complex and possibly limited. If you jsut wanna keep it bone stock, all you going to miss is the feel of the clutch. I recomend you put some music and stomp to the beat with your left foot so it doesnt feel left out. =P

haha yeah sounds good or just install a dummy pedal,

Dont f1 car drivers left foor brake? I mean, if they had laid out the pedals that way in the X then maybe I would buy into it

also, the tranny on the x mr is NOT servicable, if you break something in or on it, you WILL have to replace the ENTIRE unit

Welcome to 4 months ago ;-) , sorry it needed to be said.

I too am very disappointed that the MR doesn't come in a manual. Can you imagine how much it will cost to replace this thing? Also with with modding things will get a bit hairy as you can't just 'upgrade' the SST to make it stronger to handle more HP like you can with the manual clutch/etc.

Plus you don't get the arm work out

I dont think the new 'SST auto' will be that big of a hit. I think it will be a the only handicap of the Evo world... kinda like those base lancers vs the lancer evo! ROFL
