The black looks really nice but man those things look great in White too.

According to the pocket fact book that the salesmen get, the Phantom Black is exclusive to the MR. I am sure if cash was ponyed up the factory will do a special order.

 

Its an extra $250usd or $160cdn for the phantom black on the GSR.

 

Damn this color looks good, looks better than white.

 

We had seen some pics of GSR in phantom black available in Canada.

Is it here already in the States?
If not, why not?

 

haha im sorry but all pictures except that last one makes me think its like a faux dark grey moreso than a BLACK BLACK color haha but looks nice nonetheless

 

It's black with, what looks like, metal flakes of silver, red, and blue. It gives it more depth, shine, and glitter than regular flat black but as a result it also looks a bit greyish. Looks nice though.

Usually paint like that is 3 layers. The base coat, which is the basic flat color, then the shiny coat, which has all the glitter in it, then a clear coat on top.

Man, it DOES look nice in PB but it seems MUCH more evident of how tall it sits too.

I'm I the only one that thinks the Phantom Black looks like a gray color upclose? I seen one in South Coast Mitsu. at the So Cal Evo Meet yestarday...It was an MR... with dealer plates...also I noticed that the MR has different recaro seats then the the GSR... which kind of sucks cuz the MR seats r 100 times better...

 

^It's probably just the lighting.

 

That's the colour of the GSR at the stealership here in Ottawa. I think it's only ~$150 extra for it.
