the movie studio got only one real evo VII from Mitsubishi and make a few replica with a regular lancer for the stunt vehicle.

I remember reading the article about the f&f and they tested the car out. The acceleration wasn't anything near what it should be(14.5 at 95 or something along those lines) I don't think it was awd either. Someone bought it on ebay too I think. I still have the mag laying around somewhere.
