UPDATE: I'll post pics tonight since everyone wants them!!
Highwind- I was on the 60 several times over the weekend. if you saw a red one... chances are that it was me
.
As far as pics, i didnt post any yet because everyone has seen a million pics of the evo x and mine is red so i couldnt possibly show you anything you havent seen since i have zero mods on it so far, but since everyone is wanting pics i will post some tonight for sure, so check back after 7pm or so.
Impressions: First of all I used to own the 2004 Ralliart with a turbo from road race motorsports. I've driven several modded evo 8s and 9s. I have to admit that some of the other cars I've driven felt a little bit faster, but not by much.
Acceleration is extremely smooth. It's easy to launch and it feels like the power is always there ready to go. It doesnt feel like you're going as fast as you really are. Don't know if that made a whole lot of sense. For example if you are going 80mph, it feels like you're only going about 50 in the car since it rides so smooth. It accelerates faster than it feels. In my old car the torque used to throw you way back in the seat and it felt like you were going really fast, in the evo x it doesnt feel this way, but it does accelerate fast as hell. I guess the point im trying to make is that the evo x is one smooth ride.
Handling is sharper than a ninja's sword. One little touch to the wheel and the car just hugs the road and doesnt let go. It's amazing for a lack of a better word. Enough said.
The seats are very comfortable. I've never been one for luxury and nav systems and the like so I didn't get all that stuff. The basic stuff is very nice though. the interior looks simple but i feel like thats what makes it so cool.
I do wish it had a boost guage, but thats something simple i can install myself.
The car looks so sexy in person. It's not the same as looking at the pics. you MUST see this in person to appreciate it.
