Extended Warranty

Does anyone know if Mitsu is offering a extended warranty on the X if so how much and what coverages. Oh and I am not talking about a third party warranty I am talking about a factory Mitsu warranty.

I dont believe Mitsu does, but you can always buy one an extended warranty form any warranty provider.

I guess mitsu had it with all the people blowing **** up and going back to stock and gave it an "americanized" warantee. Funny though, how my warantee will still be intact when evo x owners will be running out.

that's funny because american car companies now have longer warranties than any others.

Wow, never really thought about that. Those Ext Warranties are wastes in my opinion anyway.

It is a very limited 3 year/ 36000 mile warranty. Mitsubishi as a company does not offer an extended service contract on the Evo X, but the majority of dealers out there can offer an aftermarked extended warranty.

I dont trust most aftermarket warranties to much to file a claim and then if it is something big they have to send a rep out which can take forever. Then you never know if they are going to go belly up. From what I have seen the automaker is going to take care of their customer more than a third party warranty.

I don't trust them, but what when you don't have a choice? It becomes your only option.

It comes with which company you go with. I know your company has access to a few different ones. And working at where you do, you have some help with your service guys. Many companys really dont look too closely to the repairs as long as they are in reason. I have thought about buying one for my Evo, even with all the crap I've done to it. $100 deductable versus $4000 engine. It's all about personal preferance.
