Saw a reverse mirror controller on japan parts. Do you guys know if the JDM reverse tilt down side mirror controller will be a plug and play deal and fit the USDM Evo X? So that when you go into reverse the side mirrors will angle and tilt down. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thats actually a pretty cool option.I don't see why you couldn't put that on a usdm EVO X.You may have to get the mirrors, relays, and do some wiring for it to work.

 

I found those super annoying. drive a car with that option first before you try to get it on your evo.

 

Why would they be annoying??

Unless you drive around town in reverse gear or you like to go reverse gear for no reason.. they only engages when you're in reverse gear and goes back normal position when you get out of reverse

annoying as hell. my wife has this in her Lexus GX470. i CANT stand it. i find myself turning it off every time i get in to drive her car

 

It makes it harder to see if your rear end or back of the car is going to swipe another object while cutting the wheel and parking. Normally i just sit up in my seat and I'm able to see if i'm parked within the white lines or not.

you can even see in the picture that the rear quarter panel of the car is not shown in the mirror after it's enganged. When i'm manuvering in tight parking garages i'd like to see if i'm gonna swipe into that gigantic suv that barely parked into their parking spot.

I fitted this to my 2010 Evo X MR (Aus Delivered) I got the manual translated. Fitting it wasn't to bad. But it only seems to drop the passenger mirror.
