PLease dont make me read the 255 page sticky.

Real quick if I autox an evo x with no mods is my warranty in jeopardy ?

Has mitsu changed since 2004 when they voided so many warranties ?

no, it's perfectly fine to do that. and be sure to share some of the racetrack stories with them. tell them how you beat on the car with low miles and if anything breaks, they better cover it under factory warranty. then, post on evom how you got screwed out of warranty.

Are you serious about this question? Think about it. You take your care to an autocross event, beat on it merciless, something breaks and you expect Mitsubishi to cover it under warranty. What have you been smoking? You might also want to read what is covered under warranty in your owner's manual.

Beat on it mercilessly ? I venture what I can do on an autocross course is probably less damaging to the car then what most people do on their daily commute.

The things that get most wear in an autox car are tires and clutches (if you dont know what your doing). While bearing loads are heavy, I havent had to change one in 9 years of racing. Should I worry about a car that cant do 60mph in a parking lot without falling apart ? Heres a link for more info: http://www.scca.com/home.aspx

I would expect mitsu to cover the other 99% of the car that is not effected by AX and not void my warranty because they found me on a result page.

Evo's at an Auto X?? You mean like the one where Mitsu supplied the cars and a course for the press, including MR models? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6yRy...eature=related
Of course they'll void your warranty for doing this, only they can do this.

First of all I'd like to know exactly how an Auto X event is considered any worse than hammering the hell out of your car in normal street driving or canyon carving. If anything most Auto X events are small parking lots with cones and tests the agility of cars and their drivers. I don't see how that means someone is going to redline the crap out of the thing and do anything out of the norm
