Tony's Evo 8 (my bf) and My Evo X!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rolled off the truck Friday, bought Saturday, Drove home Monday!

"bf" boyfriend or best friend? I wonder how many females drive an EVO or STI? I think it's about 1%. Blue? Why not rally red? I wonder how the more expensive black diamond pearl will look like. Why is it more expensive anyway? Is it because of low demand or actual higher material cost?

 

BF is boyfriend .. Yes I'm female .. and now I drive an Evo X.

I've had a history with DSM's, first in hs 94 Talon Tsi, second in college 92 Eclipse GST and also a 93 Talon TSi AWD .. then an 05 SRT-4 .. now onto the Evo X.

It was love at first sight .. and the car has been no dissapointment at all .. I'm very impressed with the new technology.

And I love the car in blue ..I don't really like the red.

 

I would cut my nuts off if my sig. other's car dripped fluids on my new car...

The black paint you're referring to is metallic and as metallic paints go, they typically cost more. That's pretty much the case for every car manufacturer out there today. It looks much nicer in the sunlight than a standard flat black. It has a shiny finish or sparkle to it. I assume the metallic flakes in the paint increases the cost to make it.

 

I need a lift like that.

You need to talk to my Girl Friend. She drives a 350Z and i'm trying to get her into a X. She too has had DSM's in the past, 92 Eclipse, 95 Stealth. Anyway congrats with the purchase, looks great!!!!

You should dump your bf and date me. I'd kill to have a gf that is so into cars that she'd buy an Evo...everytime I bring up my Evo to my girlfriend, she looks like she's ready to jump off a bridge.
