Why can't they make good looking hatches this decade? The hatches/coupes of the '90's were great looking, VW Golf, Mazda 323, VW corrado, audi coupe...

There is just something about the rear end of today's hatches that does not fit or makes them unbalanced/ugly... this mitsu thing, the subie, the BMW 3-series hatch (earlier this decade), etc. It is like the front was designed by a totally different person than the front. The lines just don't match.

Only hatchback that still looks awesome is the Audi A3.

i have to admit that the Evo X hatchback would probably look pretty good if you excluded that wing. Doesnt flow with the body design IMO
