Evolution X MR ok for wifey??

Planning on getting an Evo X, hurdle is, wife wants to be able to drive it. Problem? She doesn't know how to drive a manual and doesn't want to learn. Now I hear the MR version will have an "auto manual". Will that work the same as a automatic where she doesn't have to shift gears?? If so I'm sold! Thanks for replies

Kind of a strange car to buy the wifey though. Wouldnt an SUV or a Dodge Caravan be more appropriate?

edmunds.com and other sites say it's an auto manual. Looks at some of the pics, it has P R D next to the shifter.

I'm surprised no one has said "The wife is all the MR is good for!" yet.
