Insurance premium

Hello all;

I'm 25 and haven't had a speeding ticket since I was 17 (thank GOD)... I currently drive the Lancer GTS and trying to decide on what to purchase the X or Ralliart, many things come into factor but monthly payment isn't really one of them...

Insurance on the other hand is!!! Since some of you own the x and pervious gen evo's would you be so kind to give me some rough figures? I currently pay 73 dollars a month for full coverage, any suggestions would be great. Thanks

P.S. I could call my agent but that takes forever, they never have the 2009 models listed and sometimes not even 08's. Peace

When I added the X to my insurance, they did NOT have it in their system, so I am sure they based it off of the old platform, which made for not so hot premiums, I am 27 with no tickets and married, and I believe mine was just under $100 a month, but I suspect that once the specs get updated, that those number should go down... going from 2 air bags to 7 is a big deal.

Im 23 with a clean driving record and got quoted by Statefarm for 137 a month. Being your 25 you should be in the 100 range, probably less.

Wow... I really am disappointed.. I live in CT and they must be price-gouging the hell out of everyone here. I'm 21 and do have a speeding ticket (which will be gone in June!!!) and a reckless from my street-bike. Granted that doesn't look very good, but I'm paying $430/mo for my RSX.....

My buddy drives a 01 V6 Mustang w/ clean record and he pays like $270/mo... same age. That pisses me off. These companies must be cashing in on a ton of money!

Location plays the biggest part in what your premium will be. Where I live in La, Beverly Hills adjacent, i pay $160/month for my tC. An EVO will be about $200/month and that is with a clean driving record. I'm 26 as well. Soo, to the op, i don't recall where your from, but that will be the biggest influence.

Im 24 and my insurance for my Evo VIII was around 230 a month and I have a horrible record including numerous speeding tickets, street racing ticket and license suspensions. I am switching over my insurance for my Evo X today and will let you know waht it drops to. Im sure it will go down because of the multiple airbags and hopefully the fast key system helps too..
