Any updates on the MR, this is sort of getting ridiculous.

 

June ish for deliveries.

 

Funny, I heard May-ish.

 

Summer 2008...so anytime between may to late august.

 

I went to the dealer last Sat. since I drove by and saw a fresh new shipment of 10 GSRs on the lot, went in to ask where the MRs were and they are saying June now.."we will call you when they come in".

 

....better question for everyone.

At what point in a year does a car become a 2009 model?

 

HA a dealer in queens NY said November. No one knows what they are talking about. Its all speculation. I wish it would be soon so i can stop religiously watching the forums waiting for some one to claim that the mr's had finally reached american shores. It was fun for a while but now i just get annoyed with reading every review praising the MR. But where are they. And know one really seems to know why they are not being shipped yet or maybe they have and they are out floating on the pacific on some barge. All Rumors

 

Seems like it's up to the manufacturer, really. I would say it should definitely be after May, starting in June at the latest, but that's just my logical opinion. Mitsu & other car companies have released cars as next year's model as early as early spring.

 

it is getting sort of ridiculous, and I'm getting aggravated that they can't give me a date, they are a global business and should just be honest so customers like me who have a deposit, could plan to take delivery

 

It is ridiculous, but what can you do... I've been yearning for this car since January of 2007!

 

June is the date for Canadians apparently. I forgot which articles I read it in, but 2 canadian article about the Evo MR points to June.

 

Peruzzi Mitsu in PA told me they would have a nice new MR waiting for me in May, makes a nice gradation present to myself

 

My dealership told me the same for the new RA's which makes sence cuz they both will have the new sst tranny.

 

First its early 2008, then march, then april, then june, then august, then august 2052. I can wait any more! I want it NOW!

 

It's common to see cars with a manufacture date of Sept-Dec be considered the next years model. Thus a mfg date of 9/08 could be called a 2009 model year car.
