Garage419.com Compares Evo X & New STi. Video.

I thought you all might like to see this. It's only part 1 of 2, and part 2 has the dynos. Part 2 comes out Tuesday, April 22nd. They put the STi and Evo X on the same dyno.

It's obviously a bit bias, but it's still pretty good.

Garage419.com is a pretty cool video-blog. If you haven't been there, check out their other episodes.

I did'nt think it was bias when it came to the interior. It was better than the x but thats about it. Evo is still the better car.

The one thing I don't like about the x inside is the plastic all over.. Still the x is a better car

The sad part is I'm coming from a Civic, and I'm not pleased. The interior isn't even as nice as a Civic's! What the hell?

Of course, none of us bought one for the interior so I guess spent the money in the right places.

That's your opinion. I happen to disagree with you. I like the looks of both.

I love how everyones main gripe is the interior. I think its fine and I'm coming out of a 68 Camaro with a full metal dash. Yea, its plastic, boo hoo. What post 1982 cars don't have plastic or some cheap vinyl all over them? I mean really, think about it.

As far as the report goes, exactly, different strokes for different folks. My co-worked with his 06 STi thinks the STi is far superior in every way. Some people you just cant reach...

I'm getting the car so I can have the thrill of driving fast, I plan on keeping my eyes on the road more than on my plastic dash. And all things being equal all the past evos have been the same/ had worse interior. Why were you expecting any different?

That video was garbage and a waste of time. They seriously need some scripting as there was a ton of pointless dead time where they couldn't think of what to say next.

The owner of the shop was just agreeing with everything the host of the show was saying.

I vote: Gay.

complaint on the video here: rather than just showing them sitting in the interior, they could've shown a bit more of what they were talking about - at least with the evo. They mention a knob to turn but dont show it, etc. also - a review where they don't drive the car is pretty....helpful.
