i see how the MR has the different fronts. chrome trim around the grille and the bottom has a different look for the bumper

Depends on who you talk to. Some guesses are MSRP of $38k, based on a video conference from Mitsu a while back my guess is $36,995.

So maybe take it down a few more when buying? 33,000 maybe?

SSS is 35,500 or something, so I doubt the MR will only be $1500 more. My guess would be $37,990+destination.

^ I would agree. If you are buying from South Coast, I would guess that $2k or so, could be knocked off of that price.

This sucks if its true--i was hoping end of this month or begining of may. That was the estimate southcoast had---i hope this isnt true cuz after shipping ill see my mr at the end of june/begining of july, im tired of waiting, and whats worst is id be bying a f*ckin 08 model year car in june------09's usualy are out anywhear from july to september. WTF mitsubishi?!!! You f*ckin suck if you dont make the car an 09!!!!!!!!!!!

So the MR can handle less "horsepower" than a X w/ a Flash ,IC , IC Piping and Intake??? or am I missing something

i've heard many things about this South Coast dealership, i'm in L.A. too so i definitely going to give them a try. do you have to haggle with them in order to get this kind of discount or it's pretty much a given before you walk in?

^ well, if it's anything like the GSR, they will first offer the car at invoice pricing (about $2k less than MSRP), then mark it down $500 every month after the initial release (for how many months, I don't know). NO HAGGLE, they may also give $500 discounts for being an EvoM member & other evo forum memberships.
