Where are the BLACK ones?

I like the colors of the EVO, but my number one choice is black...but I cant find ANY around here. They have tons of gray, red, blue, silver and to a lesser extent white...but black..nope. NONE. Did Mitsu plan on making it this rare?

I see white colored ones all over. White has got to be one of the least aggressive looking car colors out there. People are always like "White is so JDM yo! w00t!!111" Well I'm sorry but sushi is JDM too and I'm not going to eat that stuff. White is for grandmas and rental cars as I like to say . I like black best and then silver or gray.

It was originally intended as the exclusive launch color for the MR (meaning it was not possible to pre-oder a Phantom Black GSR, very much like Octane Blue is exclusive to the GSR). Mitsu at some point decided to offer the color on the GSR but with a $250 premium.

As such, Phantom Black was not on any of the containers in the first shipment, which is why you don't see them around. They are however slowly trickling in to the major (read: southcoast) dealers.

When the MR is launched you will see Phantom Black X's decrease in "rarity".

There are a couple black ones near me for sale...plenty of blue and red as well. No gunmetal or white anywhere at the dealerships I've been at and I have the only silver one I've seen locally

I got mine in Phantom Black! But to me, I don't consider it a true black. In fact, someone looked at it yesterday and asked if it wasy the Graphite Grey!

Yeah I have the Shop Manual and surprisingly, the official description for GG is "Medium Purplish Grey Mica" with "Metallic Interfaced Pearl"

Which leads to Phantom Black actually being "Dark Gray" with "Interfaced Pearl"

Personally, I don't care what they call it, I'm getting that color
