I got a call from my salesman this afternoon that was quite shocking...

First, the dealership from wich I ordered my X is CLOSING! The sales director can't take anymore crap from Mitsu Canada and decided to stop selling Mitsus... This in itself is not that bad, but...

Second, they cancelled their orders... including the PB MR I ordered in January! They are going to try to transfer it to another dealer and I should hear from him again tomorrow or next week. If I'm lucky, I will still be on the boat for the MR. If not... I WILL BE VERY ANGRY!!!

But the worst news is that the last info they got from Mitsu Canada (I don't know if that tripped the decision to quit...) is a release in July for the MR... as a 2008 model since they are already built! I was shocked that a 2008 would come out in July and he went into an argument about it being a "collector's item" and so on... B*** S***.

Anyways, just wanted to share my grief with you... With all this, if I can't get the MR as planned, it's gonna be "bye bye" mitsu for me and looking for another car from a company that actually respects their dealers and, at the same time, their future POTENTIAL clients.

... at least have the decency to make it a 2009 model... Every company already has 2009 models on their lots and it's even hard to find a 2008 model in may! My stepbrother is shoping for a minivan (poor him!!) and he is getting a 2009 delivered next month...

SO PEOPLE FROM MITSUBISHI... IF ANYBODY IS READING THIS... COME TO YOUR SENSES AND BE LOGICAL... You kept us waiting all winter by pushing the date even further now. It's going to be a joke if a 2008 model is released in july.

I think Mitsu's also holding out due to the economies shape in the U.S. right now... Why ship MR's to set and rust while fuel prices sky rocket and interest rates increase!

 

If the Evo X MR does not come out by June, i am getting something else, like a BMW. I dont care, thats just ****** retarded.

I'm with you on this one Red Dragon... Got a TurboX Saab on order coming anyday now... thats gonna be my next ride 95% of chances... unless a miracle happens with the MR. I will go with an evo in a couple of years, once the bugs are fixed (if Mitsu still exists!)

 

I got a call from Mitsu HQ and they indicated there was a production run in July and then it depended on which boat they came over and where you stood in the build order, bottom line " sometime after July" My S2000 was built in January and arrived in late March so you do the math
