price check

Ok today I went to south coast mitsu to get an evo x. I've talked to 3 different people.. the sales person , the manager and the person in charge of the whole place.. The car I wanted was a phantom black GSR w/ SSS , and i know they had the best price so i went there and they told me 35,2xx out the door price and wouldnt lower the price after that no matter what.

SO for all the people who got their gsr w/ SSS @ south coast, is this what you guys got it for? I might be wrong, but I swear I seen people in these forums claim they got theirs for 33,xxx OTD.. I'm rideless right now and really need to get a car , someone help me !

35 is a little high in my opinion. Def play like 33 - 34 for a GSR w/ SSS.

well it is black so its "rare" atleast for now... im sure if you go with a different color they will work with the price a little... anyway 35 is still good for a gsr with sss... i paid that much for a base gsr...

Not that rare -- South Coast lists twelve of the phantom black ones on their web site. They're all priced just like every other color, and none of them are listed at $35.2K.

Walking into the dealer and trying to get a good price. Go here instead: http://www.southcoastmitsubishi.com/New-Inventory.aspx

Then contact their Internet guy, I think he even posts here on these forums. The only time you go onto dealership property is when it's time to pick it up.

Well, you're looking at OTD prices, which include tax. The people saying they're paying under $33k and pre-tax prices.

My GSR+SSS was $32239 + tax from South Coast. The prices have even come down a little bit since then, but depending on what your tax is out there $35k OTD could be pretty decent.

I don't think $33k OTD for an SSS is even possible. At the tax rates around here, that'd be something like $3-4k under invoice.

Here is what you should pay:

"GSR SSS
MSRP $35,655
ON SALE $31,999

****All advertised prices exclude government fees and taxes, any finance charges, any dealer document preparation charge, and any emission testing charge.**Prices are subject to change without prior notice.**"

First off the dealer is bluffing, even if you walk out of the door they will call 10 times within the next two days to try and close the deal. My suggestion is to figure out a reasonable number and stick with it. I got my GSR w/ SSS for 33K so yea, its possible.
