Anybody else have this?

I don't remember where I read about someone having this issue. Anybody have "Service Engine Soon" light come on at 1000 miles? I haven't been hard on this car at all. What's the story?

Sorry for probably reposting the same issue.

don't be ingnorant. THe CEL means little without knowing what the exact code is. Just get the code read and then tell us what the problem is.

i'll find out on wednesday if the light is still on. can they pull up what the code was if the light goes out?

i don't think this qualifies me as being "ignorant" but rather "hyporeactive to a probable nonissue."

ok. Don't worry about the CEL going out. The code will still be stored in the ECU's memory.

just went off after 24 hours. i will still find out the code and let you guys know. i must say the day before i took it out for a nice spirited saturday drive. i am a weenie (i.e., no redline yet or launches) with cars so i don't think i did anything to cause it. i got it home and put it in the garage and the next morning the light was on.

I have had 3 CEL now... after the first one I brought the car in for the reflash, since then I've had 2 that went away on their own within a couple days.

Had that at about 1200 miles, was the P1320 code and said something about misfire on the scanner. Cleared it, car never went into limp mode, just needs to be tuned to run less rich IMO. It should be fine.

got a call from my dealership today and apparently they contacted mitsu tech line and the check engine light for p1320 should be resolved in the next update that will come out in about 2 weeks or so
