40k my ***, not from that dealership. In another part of the country, sure, but sticker on that car brand new would have only been a couple thousand higher which after driving it off the lot you pretty much have to expect that sort of loss.
Not a bad deal, and I may end up doing the same when I pick up my X.

If anything, I'd say knocking only $1k off the price is not nearly enough for me to have considered a used one.

^^ You're forgetting the Nav. Still, I don't find that to be too unbelievable, especially when they have to price it against their new cars. Still, it could also have been their dealer demo
