Your seats hurting you on long drives?

I find on longer drives the bottom side bolsters hugging my thighs get painful. The metal bars that provide the support in the seats do not give way at all so my thighs kind of take a bruising over time.

I kind of tend to drive with my legs in a V but this is proving to be a painful hassle on the X.

Im 180lbs and 6' 3" with a 33 waist so it's not like im fat. Anyone else having this "problem"?

only when I leave my wallet in my back pocket. It's raising my (ample) behind up on that side making me uncomfortable.

It's not like I've got Costanza's wallet or anything, but the seats are very form fitting for those "large of assicus"

Yeah they're not the best for long drives. My VIII was no better.

I dont think thats true actually. I have a TON of headroom and the stock seat rails will let me go WAY back. And the steering wheel tilts up pretty far too.

I don't have any comfort issues with mine and think the car is designed really well for taller people especially compaired to some other cars like the Z for example. I'm 6'2 and it is good for me, I could move the seat back plenty further if i needed to as well. Done a few 6-7hr drives in it just fine, I could see the wallet being an annoyance and have taken mine out at times depending on the situation ~Trent

Went cross country in these seats. Best car seats I've ever used. I do agree that you need to remove your wallet, though. I'm 6'1" and 200 lbs.

They work well with me. I've gone 2 hours straight in the seat. So no complaints here.

I have driven across the country a few times, while going home for leave, and the seats in my 8 are not the greatest for 18+ hour drives. Love the seats, but they are not for extremely long distances.

If the seat hurts your probably too fat and need to loose weight. They already made them wider for us fat americans.

Dude, 6'3" 33" waist and 180# is anything but fat. If anything it's skinny.

Now, 5'11" 225# like me is a bit overweight, but I like to say I have a big frame

5' 8" and 140 lbs... I guess I need to trim down some too. This thread wasn't to debate whether people fit or not it's whether the seats are comfortable or not. IMO they're awesome seats for normal and sports driving, but not comfortable for 6+ hour trips. Your *** and legs start to hurt.
