button blanks?

I've noticed a few dead buttons on both the console (below the shifter) and on the lower left side of the dash, even of the car is fully loaded. What were these used for in other parts of the world? I think one was to turn off the adaptive headlights if I remember correctly.

I know the dead buttons by the console storage/armrest is for seat warmers. I can't remember where I saw it, but I did. I was never offered that option...

Probably comes with the Canadian version of the MR...afterall, we all live in igloos here. But in all seriousness, there are fuse positions for heated seats and for power adjust seats...someone posted that up a while ago.
