I'm surprised this hasn't turned into a flame war... I'm sure there are other 16 year olds, as there are plenty of 16 year olds I know who have gotten much more expensive cars (Lotus Exige S, 997 C4S, etc). But congrats dude! With the way you type I can already tell that you're more mature than most. Welcome to the crowd.

But yea its hard keeping it and to pay it off cause if u bought it for 32900 and put 7500 down thats 25,400 left after interest and all your still paying owing 32ish?

hopefully you keep it and dont take it back or something . but your parents are helping you pay for 2 years so thats great. never had that privilidge of my parents paying for my car. They only paid the first month payment thats it. then i worked my butt off and paid it off. I kinda got a good amount of money from an accident i had.

The fact that he made a thread about being a young EVO X owner tells me that he is imature and then tells everyone that his parents bought the car and are paying for it.

What kind of jobs do you all have at such a young age? I just turned 18, currently trying to pay off my 08 lancer, but I'm about to get my 3rd job and I'm going to try and trade in my lancer gts whenever I see a used Evo X, hopefully sometime around December. It's been my dream to own an Evo and it feels like im wasting money paying off my lancer. Congrats to the op, I was only able to save up $5,000 at that age, and i put that towards my lancer. Make sure you drive responsibly and only race on the track.

I can almost remember being 16. There is this vague memory of me driving my 4 month old ford ranger into a telephone pole..but I digress...

I give your clutch 7 weeks..8 weeks tops

I did life all wrong, where are you working and what do you do that they pay you $400 a week @ the age of 16? My first Mechanical Engineering internship didn't pay that, and that was at fortune 500 company.
