Warranty work

Just wondering what kind of warranty work people have had to do on their new Evo X's?? Reason being if I purchase an Evo X from the states and export it to Canada I'll lose my warranty. Problem is I'll probably save close to $8-9000 if I buy down south.

MMNA closed their loopholes in November 2007 effectively stopping the sales of new cars to Canadians. You would need to register the car at an US address then go trough the import process with the recall letters and other paperwork.

So a slightly used EVO X would be OK to import? Or if I have a relative that live in the US I could get them to purchase it for me and then sell it to me.
