Bulletproof Automotive always gets a lot of the parts first because they have a direct connection with the manufactures. After parts start speading on the web by other dealers the prices will probably lower. But BA will take care of your order...they are good people. I have ordered from them plenty of times and have never been disappointed.

They have some awesome stuff in Japan! I wonder if it actually costs the same amount over there.

all the reasons have been stated. jdm quality, hard-to-get this early, and direct import... bulletproof is legit though, that's for sure

I go to Japan 2-4 times a year, and I try to pick up a few parts whenever I go. I was shocked at the prices, and in many cases it is cheaper to buy parts in the US (suprising with transport costs, crappy exchange rate, etc.). A few times I ended up hooking up with Japanparts.com (Graham) in Tokyo and buying the parts from them, and taking them back with me.

Even at places like Super Autobacs in Japan the prices are pretty high. Some of the Nismo parts were more expensive than Nismo parts here (same parts). I would not buy parts from Japan unless they are not available in the US. Most of the expensive items BA sells are not available in the US, so you are not left with many choices (supply and demand sucks).

Japanparts also ship every 10-14 days to Long Beach, CA, and deliver ( tax paid ) into the 48 States

We offer 10% Discount off our website pricing, we can supply anything that's available new in Japan, can and have been around years longer than most other suppliers ( since 1996 )

Graham,
It's good to see you are still active in the parts business. I am not sure if you remember me, but I met up with you in Tokyo about 5 years ago and purchased some parts for my 350z and G35. I have also ordered parts from you, and had them sent to me in the US. If I end up getting an Evo X, I will be ordering some parts from you again!

I guess everyone can probably tell that I would highly recommend Japanparts.com for any hard to find JDM parts. Everyone I worked with was great, and things always went as described. I know there are a lot of options for obtaining high end JDM parts, but Japanparts.com is a good option.
