I run Endura Tech Coilovers with 9kg front and 7kg rear. I am happy with them on the track and off. They provide excellent feedback from the road and allow control under extreme circumstances. The price to performance ratio is great, too.
I paid 1500 installed and then upgraded the front springs to 9 kg a month later for 79$ plus install (nominal).
There are multiple rebound and dampening settings to choose from for any style of driving. They are definately worth investigating! Good Luck.

At AMS were are almost finished with our coilover kit for the X. You wouldnt believe how much testing was done on this suspension. For this setup, it is not going to be a huge mega dollar system either.... rather, a mid priced (from what I understand) system that is engineered to work well.

If you want a suspension that actually works for more than just lowering your car, stay tuned.

So any feedback on the JIC's or any other coilovers would really help
The JIC FLT-TAS is perfect for you. They are very great coilovers for daily driving. I had them for the X and I loved them for DD use.

Why waste your money on coilovers for a daily driver?

it is less longer then a lowering spring set up. so if it is not just for show , the coil overs have advantage over ride quality + less longer.
Plus you can have more various set up , wheel alignment etc. So if he decide to do some tracking just for fun he can re set up his aligment easier and the set up will be better there too.
in my opinion.

I've had BC's on my X for around 2k miles and love them so far. JIC are a decent set up for DD as well.

What is your goal? Since you aren't going to track the car, coilovers are typically over the top for just a daily driver. And, since you're on a budget, there might be other options depending on your goal and your answers to these questions:

Are you unhappy with the stock handling of the car? If so, what about it do you not like?

Are you looking for a lower stance?

Can you outdrive the stock suspension on public roads?

For Daily Driving, JIC and BC Racing would be good enough.

Would you say JIC or BC are ok for very occasional track days?
