You have so many stipulations it seems for a car to be "on gavel" just so yours is "the first". ROFL. It's not the first...done!

first of all, its not my car dude......secondly, everybody knows of that car in the pic its the 0 car used in japan for their rally( 0 car is not a competing car it just runs ahead of the rally cars to check the stages) the japs dont seem to count this car as its their R&D car, so the search is still on....an evo x won its first rally worldwide in japan, but that was a tarmac event, not much gravel bits are available for this car as yet, just mainly safety stuff
Aaaaahhh! The Evo dominates gravel roads.
I took my daily driver out on some Washington fire access roads a couple of weekends ago, completely stock. Paint didn't suffer too much. I worried about the tires, but they worked like champs, no damage.
The best part was power sliding past some dirt bikers (AYC really turns the most ham fisted drivers into rally pros) on some of the twisties. Second best part was pulling into the gas station in town afterwards with a filthy car and getting the nod from a bronco owner.
Def. not the best thing for the car, but man I recommend you all try it once.

this car has brought to light so problems with the evo x active drivetrain...it malfuntions when its on heavy gravel...(car handles eratic)....the problem has been traced to dirt getting on the wheel speed sensors..Curently there is not a solution as in japan they still have not run a x on a gravel rally event.... doug has tried to remove stuff like the parking brake mechanism ,and the backing plate, which seemed to help a little , but by 800m onto a stage the diff lights would come on, and the car would not handle so well
