I hate to say it, but hearing about **** like this makes me appreciate my 3 car garage even more. Man, i'm real sorry to hear about this ****. I wish I was there to help you track them down. Damn.... Perhaps you can get it covered through insurance to have the sections repainted....?

You take that 3 car garage with you everywhere you go? At some point your car will be exposed and you won't be there to protect it. **** happens like this all the time, and it's a shame.

get a viper or clifford. install glass break sensor and proximity sensor. tell whoever installs the alarm that you only want one siren to go off instead of that tired 6 tone alarm so you can tell if its your alarm. +100 on proximity if you want to protect it a lil bit better

Sorry to hear that man. Jealous punks! It will go on your comprehensive. I will not raise your premium. If your deductible outweighs your damage, go for it. I do know also that, for everyone listening, to drop your comprehensive from a $500 deductible to a $250 is VERy inexpensive as compared to collision. So if you have these types of issues it is worth it to go with a lower comp deduct.

Take it to a body shop and see what they say, they may be able to wet sand it or something without paint. Good luck man

I finally signed for my 08 Evo GSR yesterday. Brought in from the states and it has SSS, something the evo's in Canada don't have. So they put a sold sign on the car. Day before yesterday, I saw it in the lot with 2 scratches on it, which weren't there a few days before when I saw it.. Keyed..

So yea, couldn't even protect my baby before I even took it home. Dealership is going to buff it out since it isn't too deep. But still, people suck ***. They probably saw the sold sign and decided to do that.

I feel for ya OP.

its a 1911 colt .45, and all of the rest is great advice, try to buff it out first before you go the insurance claim route.

God help anyone that screwed with my car let alone any other Mitsu that I saw being vandalized. I would chase their sorry behinds down without endangering the public of course and have the cops intercept us to bring them to justice. That's the nice thing about our cars in that we can catch most people on the road and still obey lights and signs, using traction and acceleration to stay in persuit semi legally.

Thanks for the advice guys, I posted a picture on page 1. Sorry if its not clear, but you can clearly see the scratch.

What irritates me most is not knowing why they did it, if it was stealing something to make money I would understand, but to key someones car? How would that satisfy someone? Anyone who keyed a random car before, please explain it to me, I wont bash on you. I'm just f'n puzzled.
