This happened to me. When it happened, coming out of an alley with a lil scrape, I noticed my car was making a funny clicking noise but never figured it out till the next day after driving home, to work, and to the gym. I was walking out and it was hanging half way off so I ripped it all the way off.

So I have gorilla glue, is that holding up so far? That is with the clips right.

Will Mitsu fix this outright from anyone's experience? I'm gonna call on this.

I jsut looked it up on my shop estimating program to no avail. It doesnt show anything about the Aero kits. Just call the dealer and as them, they should be able to find it without a problem.

Just called. Asked if it was a warranty item. They said they have to look at it to see if it was defective or if I hit something. Of course I hit something ! I hit the ground. Scraped a few times and there goes the rubber piece. So I have to bring it in... with all my mods .

We will see.

$%^#%^ Just bit the street a bit on some road construction after gettin gas and now my front lip is saggin a bit, only on the right side though, it looks a little retarded.

Those that krazy glue and double sided tape, how is it holding up? I tried to feel underside for clips, and didn't see it. I think mine was just glued on.

Mitsu sells a repair kit for it and it seems the dealers are ordering the kits for people who are having problems with the lip. However you must have the part number so they can order it and it seems that post was lost on the other forum.

i find funny how people complaining to the rubber part coming off. And nobody complaining when they crack they CF or fiber glass voltex etc parts...
Why is that?

Would be better if you actually crack your paint , so its no rubber there?
You hit something it is comes off, instead to having a permanent damage or a bigger fixing bill. Who is to blame for it?
The rubber part is easy to fix and more durable / so you can reuse it/ then an actual painted bumper .

Mine has a slight gap on the passenger side. No big deal. Put some regular clips in it one popped back out.

Wait, how is it funny when a piece of a car starts falling off again? Oh right, car parts aren't supposed to actually STAY on the car during production, they are SUPPOSED to fall off from daily driving. Geez, I must be an idiot thinking that my car would actually stay together!

I finally removed mine this week. I dont bottom the car out, i dont drive erratically over speed bumps. but here in vegas there are some ****ty roads as well the lane marks are nice and raised. Then there are the obnoxiously tall speed bumps in my complex. All of this contributes to those flimsy clips popping out of the lip in the corners making my car look like its got two fat lips. i don't need the rubber piece, so i removed it. If by chance someone finds a solid clip that wont come out, i will think about reintalling it as i do think it looks better with it in.

i finally went to the hardware store and replaced all my clips with a nut/bolt /washer setup. I was tired of it dragging on the ground after a lap session.

if its coming off because you are rubbing not peeling off itself as far as the post stating. And generally happening...
Also what do you want from the front lip?
' dig into tarmac or chip curbs?

Are you drunk ? I can barely make out what you're trying to say with that sentence structure...

Anyways, I 'grazed' the rubber lip on the pavement coming out of a gas station, it was light as can be, I was barely going 1mph and now it's sagging. Broke like 8 clips. It's a wonder it doesn't fly off at 90mph.

Krazy glue will have to do...
