Are the aero kit or the interior sports kit worth it?

I like the aero kit. It is a modest kit but looks good and protects the paint. I'd get it again.

I don't plan on getting the aero kit when I get my X soon. The side skirts and rear corners aren't bad but the front lip is hideous IMO. I'd rather just get an aftermarket front lip for much less and call it a day.

i like the lip kit, i got the APR front lip for my IX, and it was a pain, crack every time you took it off or you raced, and so on.
The big advantage for the oem aero kit , it is made a durable and easy fix material. So unlike the carbon-fiber or fiber glass.
For me it is worth it for sure.

my x has the interior package...the shift knob gets REALLY hot. hot enough where i dont totally grab onto it to shift the first mile. other than that, i really like it.

mitsubishi aero kits, they use clips, and 3m tapes. while aftermarket and hondas uses screws( low technology/ u can see them). Its like building a house without using screws/ nails...

The local dealership is pretty much only ordering them with Aero kit and interior upgrade. I have zero rock chips in front of my rear wheels and just got the car re-aligned with the Eibach lowering springs. We'll see how the lip holds up now that it's 1.2" lower but the OEM lip has that nice rubber buffer zone. Personally I think I made the right choice getting them.

I see the rock chip argument a lot on here and personally if you don't like the way aero kit looks, getting it for paint protection only is way expensive. You can get the 3M/Scotchguard clear bra paint protection for $1k less than the aero (either a kit or have a shop custom cut what you want covered). Personally (my own opinion) the aero only looks good on certain colors, red, white, and silver. The darker the color the bulkier it makes the car look. I plan on getting a PB SSS with the interior package because it does look like a nice accent for the interior

To each their own I spose, personally I like the lowered, bulky look of my Graphite Gray Evo X... everyone that has seen it in person has loved it. When I get wider wheels & tires to fill up those wheel wells a bit it will be even better.

When I bought my car, I did not have a chioce as all the blue cars at the dealership had the aero package. The cost was an extra $2000.00. I like the front spoiler, but not the side skirts. They stick out a little too much. If I had to choose, I would not get the aero package, but just stick with the factory front spoiler for around $600.00. Or wait for a carbon fiber one. If you do decide to get the aero package, the rubber lip on the front spoiler will probably start to tear off if you go up certain driveways with any type of incline, so be aware. I took my rubber lip completly off because the extra pins are a pain to find.
