Test drove the Evo X GSR

I was over in Milwaukee, WI over the weekend to work at a fair. After checkin at the hotels, I decide to drop by a Mitsubishi near by to check out their Evo. They had a few in stock. I got to tell ya, I love the look of the new Evo too but after test driving one of them make me don't want one. I know you're gonna laugh but I think I'm too short or something but I seem to have a few blind spot while driving. The funny thing is, they want to have a credit check to make sure I qualify for the car. I'm like, dude, I owned an Evo But what the heck, I really want to see how it drives so I let them do what they need to do.

I'm sort of below regular height for my age, and yeah the seats are a little low, but I have no problems with blind spots whatsoever.

My son is sort of at that in between age where the high chair is a bit tall for him but a regular chair is a bit short. We've used a couple of phone books with good results. Those old encyclopedias would work too.

I'm only 5' 9" and I don't really have any trouble seeing. The mirrors do suck, but it's not worth disliking the entire car over. Just buy the HKS Kansai seat rails and you'll be good to go.

So they just let you test drive the car with a credit check?? I'm gonna have to try this out myself since my local dealer has 2 GSRs and an MR out front. I asked the dealer about test drives back in '04 and the salesman told me "we have a video about the car you can watch if you want, but since most people that want one already know about the high performance, you can't drive it until you pretty much sign the papers saying you are buying it." Right....

I'm 5'2"... waaay shorter than average & the only thing that bothers me is having to sit more upright to see the lines when I'm making a left-hand turn, other than that, I'm all good!
