accessories backordered?

accessories backordered?

So i ordered some accessories (parking grip, shift knob, mudflaps) from my dealer when i was buying the car, but when i got the car, the accessories weren't on it yet. OK, i picked up the car the same day they received it from another place, somewhat understandable. They said that i can come back when they get it, they will install everything and detail the car again. Sounds good. They said they would prolly get the accessories a week from then. Its been three weeks, and they still don't have them yet. They say the accessories are on backorder.. is this true or is another Mitsu dealership screwing over another evo owner?

Think the person in charge of ordering just forgot to order the first time and backorder excuse was for your benefits.

I just bought my MR. It originally didnt have the Interior sport package. The dealer got it and installed it for me. They got it next day. I'm pretty sure that they ordered it from Mitsu too.
