Yeah, base. I didn't want all the frills (ie subwoofer, etc), just added weight for my purpose. I like it the way it is. I did pay $400 to change the wheels out though.

Has anyone been successful using Socal Mitsu prices as a bargaining chip against other dealerships to lower prices?

It worked for me, I just got mine today. A GSR with SSS I told them how much South Coast was selling them for and in the end the dealer sold it to me for that price plus what it would have cost me to ship it. So I got mine for $32,750

How are you guys getting these cars for 28k?! I was looking to buy a 2009 WRX, but decided to explore the Evo X before doing so. If I purchased an Evo X, I'd just be wanting GSR, Phantom Black preferably, and dealer installed all weather mats and mud flaps. But basically a no options Phantom Black GSR.

How are you guys getting Evo's for 28k? I'm assuming that doesn't include destination? Where are you located? I see that Nsomniac is located in Idaho; how about you darkark? (I'm in OH) I'm guessing you got these deals on Evo's on the lot, and couldn't order one for that price? I ask this as I'd really like Phantom Black GSR and I don't want SSS; I'll probably do my own install for sound system and I'll probably remove the wing altogether. The HID's would be nice and it sounds like custom setups aren't quite dialed in yet, but it's not worth $2k to me.

Any information would be appreciated greatly. I'm looking to trade/sell my RSX-S for an Evo X or WRX before winter arrives; 2009 WRX are supposed to be available starting tomorrow! If I can get an Evo X for 30k or less I'll definitely go that direction rather than the WRX.
