Thanks.

When I'll be doing this, I'll swap it further up tho I'm pretty sure. Having the BOV in the open like that doesn't feel right to me and the fact it can be seen isn't really cop friendly either... Where could I locate it room whise? Would it make a big difference if it was located on the UICP after the intercooler, because this looks like it's before the IC right?

P.S. Your middle net is hooked off

i imagine you can put it anywhere, including the upper intercooler piping, as long as it is before the maf. on the evo x, there is a bolt right there and they bend the grill down so you can get to it, but thanks anyway.

So are there any companies looking into making a LICP for this? Would this be a way to go with e85?

I have no clue if any companies are looking into it, i would assume no. i don't think it matters what fuel you are using when you run this setup.

Tial only makes: 7, 9 , 11, and 12lb springs

For the DSM/EVO using the stock MAF, the ideal spring to use is 9lbs.

The page you linked to is for the Tial Q BOV. You've got the original 50mm like I have. For the 50mm, the springs are rated at -7, -9, -11, -12psi - http://www.tialmedia.com/documents/w3_tial_bov50_sp.pdf

-9 is the spring to use. I've tried the -7 which was too light and hung wide open at idle, and I've tried the -12 which was way too stiff and never opened to vent even at full boost. The -9 spring keeps the valve closed at idle but allows it to open properly when it needs to vent.
