What do you have to do to get the car out of limp mode once it is in limp mode? Never had it happen to me, thus the reason for not knowing.

Simple, just turn the car off for about 30 seconds, then back on and it should be fine.

Only problem is this occurs at the worst times for me, like heavy congested traffic heading up a hill on the 805, and I have to try and merge all the way over while rapidly slowing down since there is no power. Sucks.

Yeah, put the stock boost controller back on... for a simple fix.

There are four boost maps that have to be toyed with, and when I get back up there sometime in the next month we are going to take it out on the road and test it on the road, adjust the maps as necessary and see if that does the trick.

I thought the X had a very competent boost control system on it, sorta like the VIII and IX owners using ECU boost control? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it fix the problem going with this route and just telling the ECU what you want to boost to be set at? Maybe thats what your talking about doing?

Precisely. You may be asking yourself "then why the hell even bother with a MBC..?!" Well, once I get the graphs you will see for yourself but, basically you hit max boost sooner and maintain higher boost throughout the RPM range. The stock boost controller is not as agressive and tapers a bit more throughout the whole band, so you lose out a bit.
