Hey guys, I took off that black plastic undertray when doing my intercooler piping. And it wont fit with my o2 dump, how many ppl go without that thing. or should i get one put on?

 

for a 9. first off wrong forum. but some people have said that without their tray the car seemed unstable. so i would find a way to get it back on, plus it keeps the engine bay cleaner

 

you dont need it.. set it aside.. makes things ALOT easier when working on the car.. **** those like 25 clips u have to take out!

i had an evo 8 if left it off for atleast a year,i have a an 08 x mr that is still because it had a trans leak.i have done it to almost ever car i have had.i have had alot.

 

One winter with the tray off my VIII and I was not happy. The engine bay which I used to keep immaculate had salt residue everywhere and things were starting to rust. Not to mention that at high speeds 80mph+ the car doesn't seem as stable. It's staying on my X for sure.
