Im considering trading my ix for a x gsr and Im just wanting to make sure of a couple of things. It appears to have the aero package and the sss package, but I want to make sure. It has the rockford fosgate stereo, and there is a sub in the trunk. it has the smart key. I ask these questions because the dealership is in Montana, and the salesmen really don't have any clue about these things. "sss? whats that" haha. Any help would be much appreciated. I might be able to steal this away.

Looks like the sports interior package too. Shift knob and break handle. Very sporty.

 

The salesman is a bmw enthusiast, and doesn't really know anything about evos. Said he would give me the car at invoice, but the tricky part is getting a good trade in value on my car. I tried my car and $5k, no go. See if $6k works, seven for last resort. 25k miles on my GG ix MR se. That car would be roughly $34k from South Coast (which is BELOW published invoice)..

It has the SSS package (big wing, HID, smart key).

 

The pictures aren't even updated. It has tint and a tasteful pinstripe around the body. I wish I would have had my camera up there. It is a beautiful car. Im in the negotiation process with the guy today on the phone. We'll see what happens.

haha I know. But you have to see it. You almost don't even notice it. Very sleek. accentuates the black on the car. I'm so torn on what to do. I go from thinking its a great idea if they give me the right bargain, because I'll have a brand new car with a full warranty, which i probably will just dd for a while. Then I read more on the ix's defense. I only owe 19k on my car and I love it, I could use the money to get a TBE and intake and a tune. the thing that keeps me from totally disregarding the X idea is that I would be the only owner, and I don't feel so big in it. Im 6"3. 210lbs, so I am pretty big in my ix, and I felt the x was bigger.(don't know if it really is)

 

I know, I hate anything like graphics, pinstripes, even decals. Mine is completely debaged, but it surprised me that I liked it. It looks like thats how it's supposed to be. Ahh. I need photographic evidence.

 

Well remember that the IX warranty is longer than the X warranty... so if you bought your IX late in the year, you'd have similar warranty coverage (for what it's worth).

*if it were me* I would have a hard time justifying the cost to go from an IX MR to an X. The IX is a plenty capable vehicle. Rare (1 year only). Upgrades and parts are cheapish and plentiful.

 

Same set up as mine except for Navigation. Looks good to me. The X is bigger in the inside than the VIII or IX.
