Oil Sample Analysis Failure
For the people commenting about cost, its $18ca for a full test from a very reputable company who do independent testing for most of the large oil companys in the world.
They post a hard copy and also a copy online so you can overlay trends between changes. With the amount of money people drop on these cars and all the bs about different grades of oil blah blah blah i firmly believe this is the only way to tell if the oil you are using is correct for your engine.
My local dealer has said they will take this further with Mitsubishi HQ and get back to me, for 18 bucks its gives me a lot of piece of mind.

Ignorance is bliss. Unless you are trying to do failure trends on a fleet of engines, I think doing your own oil analysis is just like knowing when you are going to die(but with less accuracy).
that, and there is way to much to interpret-in this case, I agree to resample on the next oil. BTW, you already know the car runs super rich, but the metals are harder to explain.

Not really sure what you are expecting to get seeing it's pretty normal to have some wear during the break-in period. All you are doing is making yourself worry for nothing.
Not expecting to get anything except it noted really so if something goes wrong further down the line. My dad did the same with a high end Audi about 2 years ago and about 6 months ago they finally agreed to an entire engine re build afer various issues with the engine. It has saved him a s"it load of cash, you should have seen the bill for the re build.
