IMO, yes. I bought back before the crash, so I got raped on price, but still feel good about the value of the deal Nothing puts a smile on like this, not even .....

 

Bought one today for 36,700 before tax and fees. 2011 WW MR with Nav and Premium packages.

 

I think so too. Just wondering if anyone got a better deal on a 2010 SE in the region and whether I should keep negotiating.

Now I just need to find an auto loan...

 

Is this 0% deal everyone's talking about for 36 months or are some of you managing to get it for 60? (Sorry to be OT).

 

2010 model: 60 months or $2000 rebate
2011 model: 36 months

Hey guys im new to this forum but i've been in love with evo's sense I was 12 I drove my first one just the other day it was a stage 2 evo 8 and it makes me want one even more, the question I had is im 18 now what should I do to get an evo I work at scheels and im about to graduate and start working full time and i really want an evo any tips on is it even possible for me to get one at such an early age is it possible to finance one with no credit or little credit any help would be greatly appreciated thanks a lot guys! Its going to be extremely hard for you to finance an Evo without a good co-signer. Especially if you little to no credit. I tried at 19 a few years ago after I had 3 years of perfect credit and got shut down. They said because of this economy they won't finance people with good credit unless they have a long history of good credit. Also, if you do get it, insurance is going to be extremely high for you being 18. But if your making a lot of money and its not an issue, then goodluck. But be careful since these are performance cars. Don't wrap yourself around a tree. So stay safe and GL.

 

You will need a co-signer, and it will end up being you as the co-signer and the other as the primary.

If you have nearly no credit, the most a bank MIGHT loan you is $10k with 18% APR and $3000 down. Everything is based on credit, and it's harsh when you don't have any or your credit is bad. Not going to sugar-coat it, but you won't have a chance alone unless you have over...idk $10k down.

 

I paid $31.5k for my 2010 X GSR (which i just traded for $25k, low-ball) in the beginning of 2010.

Smart. It only took me ~20 years, a few detours along the way like a house, expensive dogs (vets aren't cheap), a couple kids, a real truck.... Plenty of things probably are justified before a sweet fast ride. Too bad your generation didn't get the benefit of some cheap gas, it's expensive now. Basically comparable to when I was 16, 1 gal of gas is about equal to 1/2 hour min wage rate. Sux. In the 90's, wish I had a fast car, gas was about 1/5 hour of the min wage hourly rate.
